Job summary

The Texas Democratic Party is hiring a GOTV Data Associate to join the Texas Together 2026 Coordinated Campaign, supporting Talarico for Texas and down-ballot candidates. You will provide day-to-day data and VAN support to campaign staff, troubleshoot questions, and handle data tasks in VAN.

The role involves writing and troubleshooting SQL queries, working with Google Sheets and Google Data Studio, assisting with data analysis and reporting, and collaborating with the GOTV Data & Analytics

Qualifications

• No formal educational requirement. Equivalent experience, skills, and demonstrated ability are valued.
• Commitment to the Texas Democrats mission and the organization’s values, goals, and objectives.
• Familiarity with campaign operations and the pace and demands of a political campaign.
• Strong task and time management skills.
• Ability to communicate clearly with users and data team, translating technical issues into practical solutions.

Responsibilities

• Monitor, manage, and respond to VAN support tickets and user requests in a timely and professional manner.
• Troubleshoot VAN issues and provide technical assistance to campaign and organizing staff.
• Complete data entry, reporting, and other assigned tasks within VAN accurately and efficiently.
• Support geographies/districts, including VAN administration, creating phone banks, managing texting programs, and more
• Create, update, and maintain reports and dashboards using Google Data Studio.
• Document recurring issues, processes, and solutions to help improve data team support.
• Communicate clearly with users and data team members, including translating technical issues into practical solutions.
• Manage multiple assignments and priorities while meeting deadlines in a fast-paced campaign environment.
• Perform other duties and projects as assigned in support of Texas Together’s GOTV program.
