Job summary

The Texas Democratic Party is seeking a GOTV Data Associate to support the Texas Together 2026 Coordinated Campaign, aiding Talarico for Texas and Democratic candidates across the ticket. You will respond to VAN tickets, troubleshoot data issues, and perform data tasks in a fast-paced campaign environment.

Work closely with the GOTV Data & Analytics Director and Deputy Director on data projects, SQL work, dashboards, and reporting, while contributing to GOTV operations during an intense GOTV

Qualifications

• No formal educational requirement; equivalent experience valued.
• Commitment to the Texas Democrats' mission and values.
• Familiarity with campaign operations and fast-paced campaigns.
• Strong task and time management skills.
• Attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects with competing priorities.
• Ability to troubleshoot data and tech questions independently.

Responsibilities

• Monitor, manage, and respond to VAN support tickets promptly.
• Troubleshoot VAN issues and provide technical assistance.
• Perform data entry, reporting, and other VAN tasks.
• Support geographies/districts, VAN administration, texting programs.
• Collaborate with the TDP Data Team to resolve data issues.
• Complete projects assigned by the GOTV Data & Analytics Director.
• Write, modify, and troubleshoot SQL queries as assigned.
• Create, update, and maintain Google Data Studio reports and dashboards.
• Use Google Sheets for GOTV reporting and analysis.
• Document recurring issues and processes to improve support.
• Communicate clearly with users and data teammates; translate issues into solutions.
• Manage multiple assignments and deadlines in a fast-paced campaign.
