Job summary

LifeWise Academy seeks a part-time teacher to share gospel with public school students through LifeWise curriculum. Candidates should be active church participants with strong communication, interpersonal skills, and a mature Christian faith.

Responsibilities include initial and ongoing training, teaching LifeWise classes, maintaining records, and engaging with the community. A retirement plan is offered. This role is non-exempt and hourly.

Qualifications

• Two years of classroom teaching experience in school or church setting.
• Active church participation and alignment with LifeWise beliefs.
• Commitment to local church whose doctrine aligns with LifeWise Faith statement.

Responsibilities

• Complete LifeWise Teacher Certification within 30 days prior to teaching.
• Teach LifeWise classes using the LifeWise curriculum and adapt as needed.
• Invest in relationships with students and maintain an organized classroom.
• Take attendance, maintain rosters and prepare materials for substitutes.
• Promote LifeWise mission and communicate with schools and volunteers.
