Job summary

LifeWise Academy seeks a part-time teacher to combine Bible knowledge with strong teaching skills in a public school classroom. The ideal candidate is an active church participant with excellent communication and interpersonal abilities, caring, perceptive, and proficient in teaching children.

The role requires a minimum of two years of classroom teaching experience, a mature Christian faith aligned with LifeWise Academy, and active church involvement consistent with the organization's beliefs.

Qualifications

• Minimum of two years of classroom teaching experience in school or church setting.
• Active participation in and commitment to a local church whose doctrine aligns with LifeWise Academy Statement of Faith.
• Mature personal Christian faith in agreement with the LifeWise Academy Statement of Faith.

Responsibilities

• Teach LifeWise classes using the curriculum and map lessons.
• Maintain attendance and classroom records as needed.
• Build relationships with students, pray for them, and foster an engaging, redemptive classroom environment.
• Communicate with school personnel and LifeWise program director about schedule and student well-being.
