Job summary

LifeWise Academy is seeking a part-time teacher to bring the gospel into public school classrooms. The role combines Bible knowledge with strong teaching ability and requires active church participation and a mature Christian faith aligned with our Statement of Faith.

You'll train in our LifeWise Teacher Certification and use our curriculum to engage and inspire students while maintaining a well-organized classroom and regular communication with school staff and volunteers.

Qualifications

• Minimum of two years classroom teaching experience with students in school or church setting.
• Mature personal Christian faith in agreement with the LifeWise Academy Statement of Faith.
• Active participation in a local church whose doctrine aligns with LifeWise beliefs.

Responsibilities

• Attend and complete initial and ongoing training.
• Teach LifeWise classes using curriculum and map out lesson plans.
• Invest in connecting with students through relationships and prayer.
• Maintain an organized, engaging classroom environment.
• Take attendance and maintain class rosters as needed.
• Communicate with school personnel and volunteers about schedules and student well-being.
