Job summary

LifeWise Academy is seeking a part-time teacher to share the gospel in public school classrooms using LifeWise's curriculum. The ideal candidate participates actively in a local church and maintains a mature Christian faith aligned with our Statement of Faith.

The role includes completing certification within 30 days, ongoing training, and regular attendance at LifeWise events. You will develop relationships with students through prayer and relational teaching in a warm, redemptive classroom

Qualifications

• Minimum of two years of classroom teaching experience in school or church setting.
• Active participation in a local church with doctrine aligned to What We Believe.
• Mature personal Christian faith matching LifeWise Academy's Statement of Faith.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Complete initial and ongoing training including LifeWise Teacher Certification within 30 days.
• Teach LifeWise Classes using the curriculum and map curriculum customization.
• Invest in building relationships with students and pray for them regularly.
• Maintain attendance records and class rosters; prepare substitute material.
• Keep classroom organized, safe, and well-ordered; manage emergencies.
• Communicate with school personnel, volunteers, and program director; promote LifeWise mission.
