Job summary

Dark Wolf is seeking a Google Customer Engineer to serve as a critical liaison for our DoD customer, enabling secure cloud adoption and ongoing optimization of Google Platform in a government environment.

The role is primarily remote with hubs in Herndon, VA; Tampa, FL; San Antonio, TX; Colorado Springs, CO; Ogden, UT; or Omaha, NE. Candidates must have US citizenship and an active Secret clearance, plus hands-on Google Cloud experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science or a related field.
• 3+ years of experience in cloud computing.
• 1+ years of experience with GCP.
• Strong facility with customer interaction, coaching, and requirements gathering.
• Familiarity with cybersecurity best practices or DoD/DISA cybersecurity policies.
• Strong understanding of Google Cloud services and technologies.
• Experience designing scalable, reliable, and secure cloud solutions.
• Experience with infrastructure automation using IaC tools such as Terraform.
• Experience with DevOps practices and CI/CD in cloud environments.
• Ability to present technical solutions to clients and executive leaders.

Responsibilities

• Working with customers to identify requirements, pain points, and security concerns and translate into actionable engineering tasks.
• Generating, updating, and closing out assignment tickets in response to customer needs.
• Conducting customer engagement activities such as weekly office hours and system monitoring.
• Ensuring projects are optimized for cloud usage to minimize costs and educate on cloud adoption.
• Collecting and providing customer feedback to inform planning decisions.
• Exploring opportunities for service automation and templatization for common requests.
• Compiling feedback and lessons learned to improve Zero Trust and cybersecurity processes.
