Job summary

RTX's Processing Guidance & Control Center in Tucson, AZ is seeking a Systems Engineer (GNC) to support missile programs, focusing on evaluation, design, implementation, and integration of embedded software algorithms for Guidance, Navigation, and Control. You will work with a team of engineers on CFD/wind tunnel testing, and flight testing to meet mission objectives.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree in STEM, experience with MATLAB, Python, C/C++, and Linux, plus GNC and control-system

Qualifications

Bachelor's or higher in engineering, science, physics, math, or related STEM field.
Experience with MATLAB, Python, C/C++, and Linux.
Experience with GNC, modeling/simulation, control systems, Kalman filters, and CFD is a plus.

Responsibilities

Evaluate, design, implement, and integrate embedded software algorithms for GNC.
Characterize system performance through CFD, wind tunnel tests, and flight testing.
Collaborate with a cross-functional team to deliver embedded software and six-DOF simulations to meet performance objectives.
