Job summary

RTX is seeking an entry‑level Systems Engineer in Tucson, AZ to contribute to Guidance, Navigation, and Control for missile programs. You will help evaluate, design, implement, and integrate embedded software algorithms, working within a team of engineers on CFD, wind tunnel data, and six‑degree‑of‑freedom simulations to meet mission objectives.

The role requires a Master’s degree by start date and familiarity with MATLAB, Python, C/C++, Linux, and GNC concepts.

Qualifications

Master's degree in engineering, science, physics, mathematics, or a related STEM field. Degree must be obtained by start date.
Experience with MATLAB, Python, C/C++, and/or Object-Oriented design and Linux operating systems
Experience with GNC systems, modeling & simulation techniques, digital/control systems, dynamics, Kalman filter design, signal processing, navigation systems, sensors (IMU/GPS), and APNT/aerodynamics & CFD.
Experience may be obtained through on-the-job experience, research, coursework, or projects.

Responsibilities

Support execution of missile program portfolios in Tucson, AZ.
Assist with evaluation, design, implementation and integration of embedded software algorithms.
Collaborate with an integrated product team to deliver tactical embedded software and six‑DoF simulations.
