Job summary

RTX in Tucson, AZ is seeking a Systems Engineer (Guidance, Navigation, and Control) to support missile program development. You will help evaluate, design, implement, and integrate embedded software algorithms for GNC systems and simulations.

Join a cross-functional engineering team working with CFD, wind tunnel data, and six-degree-of-freedom simulations to meet mission objectives. A bachelor’s in engineering or related field and experience with MATLAB, Python, C/C++, and Linux are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, science, physics, mathematics, or a related STEM field.
• Experience with MATLAB, Python, C/C++, and/or Object-Oriented design and Linux operating systems.
• Experience with GNC systems, modeling & simulation techniques, dynamic and control systems, Kalman filter design, CFD, and related tools.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate, design, implement, and integrate embedded software algorithms for GNC.
• Collaborate with a team to validate aerospace system performance in flight testing and simulations.
