Job summary

RTX is seeking a Systems Engineer in Tucson, AZ to support Guidance, Navigation, and Control for missile programs. You will help evaluate, design, implement, and integrate embedded software algorithms, collaborating within an integrated product team to deliver high-assurance system performance.

The role requires a Bachelor's in STEM, proficiency in MATLAB/Python/C/C++, Linux, and experience with GNC or related modeling/simulation. U.S.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in engineering, science, physics, mathematics, or a related STEM field. Degree must be obtained by start date.
Experience with MATLAB, Python, C/C++, and/or Object-Oriented design and Linux operating systems
Experience with one or more of the following: GNC systems, modeling & simulation techniques, digital and/or modern control systems, dynamics, Kalman filter design, signal processing (electro-optical, infrared, or active/passive RF), navigation systems, sensors (IMU/GPS), and algorithms, including Assured Position, Navigation, and Timing (APNT) systems, and aerodynamics and CFD.
Experience may be obtained through on-the-job experience, research, coursework, or projects.

Responsibilities

Design and integrate embedded software algorithms for missile guidance and control.
Collaborate within an integrated product team to achieve system performance objectives.
