Job summary

RTX Tucson is seeking a Systems Engineer in the Guidance, Navigation and Control domain to support current and upcoming missile programs. You will help evaluate, design, implement, and integrate embedded software algorithms for critical flight systems.

In the GNC group, you will work with CFD and wind tunnel-derived data to design and optimize guidance, tracking, navigation, and estimation algorithms, coordinating with a team on embedded software and simulations to meet performance objectives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, science, physics, mathematics, or a related STEM field.
• Experience with MATLAB, Python, C/C++, and/or Object-Oriented design and Linux operating systems
• Experience with GNC systems, modeling & simulation techniques, digital and/or modern control systems, dynamics, Kalman filter design, signal processing (electro-optical, infrared, or active/passive RF), navigation systems, sensors (IMU/GPS), and algorithms, including APNT and CFD.
• Experience may be obtained through on-the-job experience, research, coursework, or projects.

• Support flight testing and subsystem testing to meet performance targets.
