Job summary

RTX is seeking an entry-level Systems Engineer in Tucson, AZ, to support missile programs with embedded software algorithms and GNC work. The role involves design, evaluation and integration of guidance, navigation, and control systems in a team setting.

Qualifications include a Master’s degree in a STEM field and experience with MATLAB, Python, C/C++, and Linux. Onsite role with security clearance requirements and relocation eligibility.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in engineering, science, physics, mathematics, or a related STEM field.
• Experience with MATLAB, Python, C/C++, and/or Object-Oriented design and Linux operating systems.
• Experience with GNC systems, modeling & simulation techniques, control systems, Kalman filter design, signal processing, navigation systems, sensors, algorithms including APNT, and CFD.

Responsibilities

• Support execution of missile program portfolio; design, implement and integrate embedded software algorithms.
• Evaluate and validate guidance, navigation and control algorithms in flight/test environments.
• Collaborate with a team of engineers in an integrated product team to achieve system performance requirements.
