Job summary

RTX is seeking a Systems Engineer in Tucson, AZ to support missile programs. You will help design, implement, and integrate embedded software algorithms, working with GNC, CFD, and navigation systems within an integrated product team to achieve mission objectives.

You will collaborate on six-DOF simulations and flight-test evaluations while leveraging MATLAB, Python, C/C++, Linux, and object-oriented design. A DoD Secret clearance is required for start date readiness.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, science, physics, mathematics, or a related STEM field; degree by start date.
• Experience with MATLAB, Python, C/C++, and/or Object-Oriented design and Linux operating systems.
• Experience with GNC systems, modeling & simulation techniques, digital and/or modern control systems, dynamics, Kalman filter design, signal processing (EO/IR or RF), navigation systems, sensors (IMU/GPS), and APNT systems, and CFD.

Responsibilities

• Support evaluation, design, implementation, and integration of embedded software algorithms.
• Collaborate with a team to develop tactical embedded software, firmware, and six degree-of-freedom simulations.
• Evaluate solutions in flight testing and subsystem testing to meet system performance requirements.
