RTX Corporation is seeking a Systems Engineer – Guidance, Navigation, and Control in Tucson, AZ to support missile program portfolios. You will evaluate, design, implement, and integrate embedded software algorithms within the GNC domain, including CFD-based aerodynamics, and verification through flight tests.

The role requires a Master’s degree in a related STEM field and experience with MATLAB, Python, C/C++, and Linux.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in engineering, science, physics, mathematics, or a related STEM field. Degree must be obtained by start date.
• Experience with MATLAB, Python, C/C++, and/or Object-Oriented design and Linux operating systems
• Experience with GNC systems, modeling & simulation techniques, digital and/or modern control systems, dynamics, Kalman filter design, signal processing, navigation systems, sensors, and algorithms, including APNT systems.

Responsabilités

• Assist in evaluation, design, implementation, and integration of embedded software algorithms in GNC.
• Characterize system aerodynamics through CFD and wind tunnel testing.
• Design and optimize guidance, tracking, navigation, and estimation algorithms to meet mission objectives.
• Collaborate with a team of engineers on tactical embedded software and simulations.
