Job summary

RTX in Tucson, AZ is seeking an entry-level Systems Engineer in the Guidance, Navigation, and Control domain to support missile programs. You will help evaluate, design, implement, and integrate embedded software algorithms for GNC, CFD, and aerodynamics in a collaborative team effort.

The role requires a Master’s in a STEM field by start date and experience with MATLAB, Python, C/C++, Linux, and GNC concepts. Onsite work in Tucson with relocation eligibility offered.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in engineering, science, physics, mathematics or related STEM field (degree must be obtained by start date).
• Experience with MATLAB, Python, C/C++, and/or Object-Oriented design and Linux operating systems.
• Experience with GNC systems, modeling & simulation techniques, control systems, dynamics, Kalman filter design, signal processing, navigation systems, sensors and CFD.

Responsibilities

• Support execution of missile program portfolios as a Systems Engineer - Guidance, Navigation, and Control.
• Evaluate, design, implement, and integrate embedded software algorithms for GNC applications.
• Collaborate with a team to develop and test six degree-of-freedom simulations and flight-tested subsystems.
