Larkin Community Hospital, Inc. in Florida is seeking a Program Coordinator to oversee the administrative and academic management of our residency/fellowship training programs under direction of the PD, GME Manager, and GME Director.

The role requires knowledge of national accreditation policies, independent judgment, and strong organizational skills to manage databases, recruitment, scheduling, and program events, while ensuring compliance and communication with faculty and residents.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years of office administration experience in education or healthcare.
• Minimum of 3 years of ACGME PC experience preferred.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Extremely organized; ability to analyze and organize information.
• Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality.
• Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint.

Responsibilities

• Provides full support to the PD concerning program management. Identifies and evaluates ways to improve workflow and cost effectiveness.
• Interprets and applies ACGME and hospital policies to support compliance.
• Provides administrative supervision and support to residents/interns/fellows; liaison to hospital administration and departments.
• Assists with trainee orientation and recruitment efforts.
• Informs residents of policy changes with Manager assistance.
• Tracks licensing, moonlighting, annual contracts, and re-credentialing processes.
• Manages materials for trainee exams and may assist with proctoring.
• Maintains filing systems, databases, and program procedures; troubleshoots issues.
• Maintains databases with resident and faculty data (New Innovations, ACGME ADS).
• Manages evaluative processes for trainees, program, faculty, and rotations.
• Oversees program purchasing and equipment training needs.
