Job summary

Mercyhealth is seeking a Graduate Medical Education Program Coordinator to manage day-to-day administration of the Fellowship and Internal Medicine Residency programs. You will coordinate schedules, support accreditation requirements, and liaise with program leadership, faculty, and trainees.

The role requires strong attention to detail, multi-tasking abilities, and adherence to GME policies. A Bachelor’s degree and background in GME are preferred, with background checks required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Experience in a Graduate Medical Education environment preferred.
• Driver’s License Check and background checks required.
• Must be able to follow written and oral instructions.

Responsibilities

• Coordinates educational activities (e.g., didactic conference schedule, Grand Rounds) to support the Fellowship Program’s curriculum and ensure ACGME compliance.
• Guides residents/fellows on program and GME policies and non-clinical aspects of the program.
• Coordinates creation, dissemination and monitoring of rotation, clinic and call schedules for the Fellowship and IM Residency.
• Assists with accreditation activities—ACGME Site Visits, Internal Reviews, and annual program reviews.
• Manages duty hour reports and supports reporting compliance for the IM Residency.
• Supports fellow recruitment and selection and contributes to program quality improvement efforts.
