Job summary

Mercyhealth is seeking a Graduate Medical Education coordinator to support the Fellowship and Internal Medicine Residency programs in northern Illinois and southern Wisconsin. The role involves coordinating educational activities, schedules, evaluations, and accreditation processes to ensure ACGME compliance.

The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor’s degree and prior GME experience, with strong attention to detail and ability to multi-task in a busy academic environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree preferred.
• Experience in Graduate Medical Education environment preferred.
• TAGME Certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate educational activities supporting the Fellowship Program’s curriculum and ACGME requirements.
• Guide residents and fellows on program and GME policies.
• Coordinate creation, dissemination and monitoring of rotation, clinic and call schedules; update schedules for accuracy.
• Assist with resident/fellow, faculty, and program evaluations and with accreditation activities (ACGME site visits, reviews).
• Support duty hour reporting and compliance; assist with IM Residency processes and program quality improvement activities.
