Job summary

Key People is seeking a General Manager to lead the HVAC/plumbing division in Los Angeles. You will take full ownership of the division’s operational and financial success, overseeing field technicians, dispatch, and office staff while driving P&L results and growth.

As a senior leader you will optimize daily workflows, implement pricing strategies to protect gross margins, and develop sales plans to expand maintenance contracts and residential memberships.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years managing construction projects or equivalents.
• Bachelor’s in construction science or related fields.
• Valid California Driver License with clean DMV record.
• Experience in HVAC and general construction.
• Strong communication, organizational, and administrative skills.
• Willing to work flexible schedule, overtime and weekends.
• Journeyman/Master Plumber license is a major plus.

Responsibilities

• Own P&L of the division and drive gross profit margins.
• Lead field technicians, dispatch, and office staff.
• Oversee dispatching, scheduling, and job workflows.
• Develop sales strategies to expand maintenance contracts and market share.
• Escalate customer inquiries and protect brand reputation.
