Confident Search Consultants is seeking a General Manager to lead our HVAC/plumbing division in Los Angeles. You will own the division’s operations and P&L, manage field technicians and dispatch, and drive profitability while expanding revenue streams.

You will recruit, train, and mentor licensed plumbers and office staff, streamline field workflows, and develop sales strategies for commercial maintenance and residential plans.

Qualifications

• Three to five years of experience in managing projects in construction.
• Bachelor’s degree in construction science or related fields; or equivalent certification.
• Extensive knowledge and work experience in HVAC and general construction.
• California Driver License with clean DMV record.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Strong organizational and administrative skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and Excel software.
• Ability to work in a team environment.
• Uses independent judgment and discretion in prioritizing and managing situations.
• Must pass a background check, drug screen, and possess a clean driving record.

Responsabilités

• P&L Ownership: Manage division budget, track labor and material costs, and pricing to hit gross margin targets.
• Team Leadership: Recruit, train, and mentor plumbers, apprentices, and office staff.
• Operational Excellence: Oversee dispatching, scheduling, and workflows to maximize efficiency.
• Business Growth: Develop and execute sales strategies for maintenance contracts and market share.
• Customer Relations: Escalate inquiries and disputes to protect brand.
