Job summary

IHOP® is seeking a Designated General Manager to direct operations across the unit, driving guest satisfaction and leading team performance. You will implement training programs, manage finances and marketing initiatives, recruit and develop staff, ensure SOP and regulatory compliance, and deliver strong guest experiences while maintaining service standards.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 2–4 years related experience and/or training.
• Experience in a restaurant supervisory role preferred.

Responsibilities

• Implement team member training program to improve operations and guest experience.
• Execute annual financial, local restaurant marketing, guest service.
• Manage restaurant operation with focus on guest experience, food quality and service standards.
• Comply with federal, state, and local regulations.
• Recruit, train and retain employees per SOP and operations plan for the unit.
• Deliver performance appraisals and enforce company policies.
• Monitor ticket times to meet guest expectations.
