Job summary

IHOP is seeking a General Manager in Idaho to lead daily restaurant operations, guest service, and team performance. This full-time role requires strong leadership, adherence to SOPs, and a focus on delivering a safe, high-quality dining experience.

You will recruit, train, and coach staff, manage inventory and ordering, ensure regulatory compliance, and drive local promotions while maintaining excellent guest relations.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of relevant experience (restaurant leadership preferred).
• Valid driver’s license required.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to speak and read English.
• Basic mathematical skills for financial and inventory tasks.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage daily restaurant operations and guest service to ensure high quality experiences.
• Recruit, train, and retain staff; coach team and uphold SOPs and the hourly compensation plan.
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations; complete required reports and documentation.
• Oversee food safety, quality, plating, temperatures, and adherence to recipes; monitor inventory and reduce waste.
• Manage equipment, facilities, sanitation, security, and local marketing promotions.
