Job summary

Alvarez & Marsal seeks a Director-level leader to own the Workday platform architecture and drive a global HR technology roadmap. This player-coach role combines hands-on design with building a growing architecture practice, reporting to the Global People Technology Leader.

You will champion consolidation of HR tools into Workday, define integration patterns, and guide multi-country Workday expansions across geographies and entities.

Qualifications

10+ years of experience in Workday configuration, architecture, or platform leadership.
End-to-end Workday expertise across modules: HCM core, Payroll, Integrations.
Experience designing and governing enterprise-scale integration architecture with Workday tools.
Proven ability to translate business strategy into platform decisions with sequencing.
Experience consolidating HR tools into Workday and reducing tool sprawl.

Responsibilities

Owns end-to-end Workday platform architecture across all modules and drives standards.
Leads architectural design for new module rollouts including Extend, Orchestrate, Prism.
Serves as technical authority for complex cross-module design decisions.
Establishes documentation standards, design reviews, and runbooks.
Designs architecture for global scale with geo variations and governance.
