Job summary

Alvarez & Marsal in Dallas is seeking a Director, People Technology Architecture to own Workday platform architecture and the technical roadmap. You will drive scale, governance, and integration patterns across global HR tooling, leading a growing architecture practice and partnering with IT, Finance, and HR leaders.

The role requires 10+ years in Workday architecture, strong cross-functional communication, and a hands‑on, player‑coach leadership style to deliver enterprise-grade solutions

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in Workday configuration, architecture, or platform leadership.
• Proven experience designing and governing integration architecture at enterprise scale across HR tech stack.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, HR Technology, or related field preferred.

Responsibilities

• Owns end-to-end Workday platform architecture across all modules and drives standards for configuration, design, and governance.
• Leads architectural design for new module rollouts and platform expansions including Workday Extend and related technologies.
• Represents primary technical partner to Global People Technology Leader on architectural decisions.
• Defines consolidation roadmaps and ensures platform integrity while enabling global growth.
• Partners with IT, Finance, and stakeholders to build a business case for tool rationalization and consolidation.
