Job summary

Alvarez & Marsal is seeking a Director, People Technology Architecture to own the Workday platform architecture and roadmap across modules, with a focus on scaling globally and consolidating HR tools. This hands-on role blends technical leadership with strategy, and requires close collaboration with IT, Finance, and business stakeholders.

The position emphasizes driving standards, governance, and integrations while mentoring a growing architecture team and aligning with A&M’s global growth

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in Workday configuration, architecture, or platform leadership
• End-to-end Workday platform expertise across multiple modules including HCM, Payroll, and Integrations
• Experience with global or multi-country Workday implementations; knowledge of international HCM and global payroll
• Workday Pro certification or equivalent advanced credential preferred
• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field preferred

Responsibilities

• Owns end-to-end Workday platform architecture across all active modules and drives standards
• Leads architectural design for new module rollouts and platform expansions including Workday Extend, Orchestrate, Prism, and Build
• Serves as the technical authority for cross-module design decisions
• Mentors architecture staff and builds a scalable practice
• Defines consolidation and integration strategies to reduce tool sprawl
