Job summary

Alvarez & Marsal Deutschland GmbH is seeking a Director of People Technology Architecture to own the Workday platform architecture, roadmap, and strategic consolidation across geographies. This hands‑on leader will drive scalable, secure configurations and manage integrations with SAP, ADP Global Payroll, and data warehouses while mentoring a growing architecture team.

The role requires deep Workday expertise, a track record of global deployments, and the ability to balance hands‑on delivery

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in Workday configuration, architecture, or platform leadership.
• End‑to‑end Workday platform expertise across multiple modules (HCM, Payroll, Integrations).
• Experience designing and governing integration architecture at enterprise scale.
• Track record of owning a technology roadmap and tool consolidation.
• Global/multi‑country Workday implementations and international HCM knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Own end‑to‑end Workday platform architecture across all modules.
• Lead architectural design for new module rollouts and platform expansions.
• Serve as technical authority for complex cross‑module decisions.
• Establish documentation standards, design reviews, and runbooks.
• Define consolidation roadmap and partner with Global People Technology Leader.
• Translate architecture into scalable, globally consistent solutions.
