Job summary

Alvarez & Marsal Deutschland GmbH seeks a Director, People Technology Architecture to own the Workday platform architecture and roadmap. You will lead design across modules, drive governance, and partner with global teams to consolidate HR tools into Workday as the single source of truth.

The role combines hands‑on delivery with building a growing architecture practice, reporting to the Global People Technology Leader and shaping Workday strategy for a multinational footprint.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field is preferred.
• Proficiency with Workday configuration and architecture is required.
• Experience leading HR technology consolidation and platform decisions is essential.

Responsibilities

• Own end‑to‑end Workday platform architecture across all modules and drive standards.
• Lead architectural design for module rollouts and platform expansions (Workday Extend, Orchestrate, Prism, Build).
• Act as technical authority for complex cross‑module design decisions.
• Define documentation standards and governance to reduce technical debt and contractor reliance.
• Translate business goals into scalable global Workday architecture supporting multi‑country operations.
