Job summary

Lead the Global Heavy Civil Water Resources effort for AECOM from our Houston area team. Oversee civil works programs, levees, coastal protection, pumping stations, and mega water projects with ~USD 200M annual bookings.

Drive 10–20% yearly growth through strong client relationships and strategic market actions. Ideal candidate has extensive Water Resources leadership experience and a proven ability to manage teams, develop business, and engage with clients across multiple divisions and regions.

Qualifications

• BA/BS + 12 YORE or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education, including 4 years of leadership
• Extensive Water Resources leadership experience or equivalent, including 6 years of leadership
• Experience managing P&L, revenue generation, project margin, and client satisfaction

Responsibilities

• Develops the vision and plans for the business development function in heavy civil markets.
• Coordinates with divisions to ensure a robust pipeline and aligned objectives.
• Creates a customer engagement plan for Heavy Civil Programs and Water Resources.
• Enhances company reputation through events, CSR activities and industry engagement.
• Plans for future growth and development of heavy civil market sectors.
• Anticipates market trends to keep AECOM competitive.
• Explores teaming, joint ventures, and other contractual relationships.
• Maintains knowledge of Water Business Line services and capabilities.
• Develops client relationships and represents the company with customers and associations.
• Promotes employee engagement and ensures accountability within a matrix structure.
• Ensures compliance with internal policies and applicable laws.
