Dow Inc. in the Gulf Coast region seeks a Global Turnaround Scheduler SME to lead global scheduling and governance for major turnarounds.

You will partner with site teams, OTEC, and leadership to ensure FEL readiness, risk management, and compliance with Platinum standards. Responsibilities include governing scheduling discipline, training, and driving continuous improvement across Dow turnarounds, while traveling up to 25% and delivering predictable, safe outcomes.

Qualifications

• A minimum of a bachelor's degree plus 5 years of relevant experience OR (in lieu of a degree) 10 years experience in turnaround execution and project controls will be considered.
• Deep knowledge of Primavera, Scheduling software and turnaround work processes.
• Previous experience serving as a master scheduler in a major turnaround is preferred
• Must be willing and able to travel both domestically and internationally up to 25% annually.
• Must possess a TWIC card or be eligible to obtain a TWIC card.
• A minimum requirement for this U.S. based position is the ability to work legally in the United States. No visa sponsorship/support is available for this position, including for any type of U.S. permanent residency (green card) process.

Responsabilités

• Own and govern Dow's global turnaround scheduling operating discipline, ensuring alignment with enterprise standards, work processes, and governance requirements.
• Provide scheduling leadership and support to turnaround teams, particularly for major turnaround events ($30MM+), to improve readiness and execution performance.
• Assess turnaround compliance, readiness, and health throughout FEL and execution phases, identifying risks, gaps, and improvement opportunities.
• Lead and participate in readiness reviews, challenge sessions, and gate reviews to ensure critical deliverables and milestones are achieved before execution.
• Develop recommendations and drive actions to address readiness deficiencies, reduce risk, and improve turnaround outcomes.
• Own the global turnaround scheduler qualification curriculum, supporting training, coaching, mentoring, and scheduler development activities.
• Lead global scheduler networks, promote best practices, and serve as a trusted advisor to turnaround teams throughout the turnaround lifecycle.
• Support turnaround execution by monitoring performance, applying PERA-based risk management principles, resolving critical issues, and enabling decisions that support safety, schedule, cost, quality, and reliability objectives.
• Capture and incorporate lessons learned while driving continuous improvement, standardization, and operational discipline across Dow turnaround processes and governance practices.
• Lead the evaluation of emerging technologies, AI-enabled solutions, benchmarking efforts, and industry best practices to advance turnaround scheduling capability and performance across Dow.
