Job summary

Dow Inc. seeks a Global Turnaround Scheduler SME in the Gulf Coast Region to govern and improve Dow's global turnaround scheduling discipline.

You will lead scheduling for major events, mentor schedulers, and coordinate with OTEC, site teams, and leadership to ensure readiness and execution excellence. Responsibilities include owning the scheduling standards, conducting readiness reviews, applying PERA risk principles, and driving continuous improvement across FEL and execution phases.

Qualifications

• A bachelor's degree plus 5 years of relevant experience or 10 years in turnaround execution and project controls.
• Deep knowledge of Primavera, Scheduling software and turnaround work processes.
• Previous experience as a master scheduler in a major turnaround is preferred.
• Travel domestically and internationally up to 25% annually.
• Must possess a TWIC card or be eligible to obtain one.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States; no visa sponsorship available.

Responsibilities

• Own and govern Dow's global turnaround scheduling operating discipline, ensuring alignment with standards and governance.
• Provide scheduling leadership for major turnarounds ($30MM+), improving readiness and execution.
• Assess readiness, health, and risks across FEL and execution phases.
• Lead readiness reviews, challenge sessions, and gate reviews.
• Develop actions to address deficiencies and reduce risk.
• Own the global scheduler qualification curriculum and training.
• Lead global scheduler networks and promote best practices.
• Monitor execution performance and enable decisions supporting safety, cost, and reliability.
• Capture lessons learned and drive continuous improvement across Dow processes.
• Evaluate emerging technologies and AI-enabled solutions to advance scheduling capability.
