Job summary

Dow is seeking a Global Turnaround Scheduler SME for the Gulf Coast Region. This role provides global scheduling expertise across the Platinum work process, supporting FEL and execution with a focus on readiness, risk reduction, and governance.

The position collaborates with OTEC, site turnaround teams, and leadership, aiming to improve predictability and excellence in Dow turnarounds. Travel up to 25% is required, and a US work authorization is mandatory.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree plus 5 years of relevant experience OR 10+ years in turnaround execution and project controls.
• Deep knowledge of Primavera, Scheduling software and turnaround work processes.
• Previous experience as a master scheduler in a major turnaround is preferred.
• Willingness to travel domestically and internationally up to 25% annually.
• Must possess/obtain TWIC card; U.S. work authorization required.

Responsibilities

• Own and govern Dow's global turnaround scheduling operating discipline, ensuring alignment with enterprise standards and governance.
• Provide scheduling leadership to turnaround teams for major events ($30MM+), improving readiness and execution performance.
• Assess readiness, health, and risks across FEL and execution phases; identify gaps and improvement opportunities.
• Lead readiness reviews, challenge sessions, and gate reviews to ensure timely deliverables.
• Develop recommendations to address readiness deficiencies, reduce risk, and improve outcomes.
• Lead global scheduler qualification curriculum; support training and mentoring of schedulers.
• Lead networks, promote best practices, and act as advisor across the turnaround lifecycle.
• Monitor performance, apply risk management principles, and support safety, schedule, cost, quality goals.
