Job summary

Dow is seeking a Global Turnaround Scheduler SME in the Gulf Coast region to provide expert scheduling governance for large turnarounds. You will lead scheduling discipline, coach teams, and ensure readiness across FEL and execution phases while collaborating with site leadership and global stakeholders.

The role focuses on improving readiness, reducing risk, and driving predictable turnaround outcomes through governance, training, and continual improvement of scheduling processes and technology.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree + 5 years turnaround or 10 years in lieu of degree.
• Deep knowledge of Primavera, scheduling software, and turnaround processes.
• Willingness to travel domestically and internationally up to 25%.
• U.S. work authorization; TWIC card eligibility.

Responsibilities

• Own and govern Dow's global turnaround scheduling operating discipline.
• Provide scheduling leadership for major turnarounds to improve readiness and performance.
• Assess readiness, health, and risk across FEL and execution phases; identify gaps.
• Lead readiness reviews, challenge sessions, and gate reviews for critical milestones.
• Develop recommendations to address deficiencies and improve outcomes.
• Own the global scheduler qualification curriculum; train and mentor schedulers.
• Lead global scheduler networks and promote best practices.
• Monitor performance and support decisions impacting safety, schedule, cost, quality, reliability.
• Capture lessons learned and drive standardization and continuous improvement.
• Evaluate emerging technologies and AI-enabled solutions to advance scheduling.
