Job summary

Spreetail is seeking a Trade Compliance Analyst to own import entry audits, strengthen customs compliance, and collaborate with cross-functional teams and brokers to keep operations compliant and efficient.

You will build scalable tools, review HTS classifications, monitor duty payments, and identify improvement opportunities, while supporting global trade processes from our Arizona-based or remote work setup.

Qualifications

• Experience with U.S. customs compliance, including CBP Form 7501, customs valuation, country of origin requirements, HTS classification, and trade remedies such as Sections 301 and 232.
• Strong analytical skills to identify documentation and duty calculation errors, quantify financial impact, and maintain audit records.
• Experience with customs brokers, PSCs, and importer of record compliance.
• Advanced spreadsheet and data analysis skills, with dashboards, calculators, or automation experience.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills, with cross-team collaboration and proactive risk management.

Responsibilities

• Own the end-to-end import entry audit process, reviewing CBP documentation and driving corrective actions.
• Manage Post Summary Corrections (PSCs), validate duty payments, monitor broker performance, and recover overpayments with Finance.
• Support customs classification accuracy by reviewing HTS assignments and resolving discrepancies.
• Analyze import data to identify compliance risks and duty-savings opportunities; develop dashboards and automation.
• Collaborate with Transportation, Finance, Merchandising, brokers, and cross-functional teams to improve processes and data integrity.
