Job summary

Spreetail is seeking a Trade Compliance Analyst to ensure import operations are accurate, compliant, and efficient. You will own import entry audits, strengthen customs processes, and collaborate with cross-functional teams and brokers to build scalable tools that improve data accuracy and reduce duty overspend.

You will analyze HTS classifications, monitor broker performance, and help optimize tax and duty strategies while maintaining audit-ready records.

Qualifications

• Strong analytical skills to identify documentation and duty calculation errors.
• Experience with U.S. customs compliance (CBP Form 7501, HTS classification, origin rules).
• Advanced spreadsheet and data analysis skills; ability to create reports, dashboards, and automation.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end import entry audit, review CBP documentation, identify discrepancies, drive corrective actions, maintain audit records.
• Manage Post Summary Corrections (PSCs), validate duty payments, monitor broker performance and recover overpayments with Finance.
• Support customs classification accuracy by reviewing HTS assignments and resolving discrepancies.
• Analyze import data to identify compliance risks and improvement opportunities; develop dashboards and reporting tools.
• Collaborate with Transportation, Finance, Merchandising, brokers, and cross-functional teams to improve processes and data integrity.
