InterSystems is seeking a Total Rewards Team Lead to administer and guide US benefits and global compensation programs, ensuring compliance with laws and regulations. The role emphasizes operational excellence, market competitiveness, and collaboration with employees, managers, executives, and the global HR team.

The position requires 6+ years in benefits/compensation administration, leadership experience, and a strong compliance background.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of benefits and compensation administration experience in a mid-sized company.
• Experience leading direct reports, setting priorities, coaching performance, and ensuring timely deliverables.
• Strong collaboration and proactive communication across teams and stakeholders.
• Bachelor’s degree in human resources, business administration, or related field.
• Experience with ERISA, IRS, and DOL audits, reporting, and disclosure compliance; FLSA and leaves.
• Working knowledge of Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
• Preferred certifications: CEBS, CCP, GRP, SHRM-CP, or related

Responsibilities

• Administers and guides benefits and compensation programs for US and global scope.
• Ensures compliance with FLSA, Equal Pay Act, DOL, ERISA, 401(k), COBRA, HIPAA, FMLA, PFML, and IRS regulations.
• Oversees leave of absence plans (STD/LTD) and accommodates processes for compliance.
• Leads ADA reasonable accommodation program in collaboration with employees and managers.
• Provides data analysis, identifies trends, and makes recommendations related to total rewards.
• Develops partnerships with brokers and advisors for compliant offerings.
• Administers and develops compensation approaches and leveling with managers and HR teams.
• Ensures global compensation plans are competitive using benchmark data and surveys.
• Leverages AI and emerging tech to enhance efficiency and insights across programs.
• Coaches a team, sets goals, tracks progress, and measures performance.
