Job summary

ADP, Inc. in San Diego, CA, is seeking a Director of Total Rewards & HRIS to lead the design, governance, and continuous improvement of compensation, equity, benefits, and People Business Systems programs.

You will partner with Finance, Legal, and IT to align programs with business objectives and executive strategy. The role oversees global compensation and equity, drives benchmarking, and supports the Compensation Committee with data-driven insights and Board-level reporting.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in HR, Finance, Business Administration, or related field.
10+ years of progressive experience in compensation, benefits, executive compensation, and/or total rewards.
5+ years of leadership experience managing Total Rewards or Compensation functions.
Deep expertise in executive compensation, compensation committee governance, equity administration, and benefits strategy.
Significant experience with HR technology platforms, including Workday, ADP, Applicant Tracking Systems, and related tools.
Strong understanding of compensation regulations, securities compliance, and benefits governance.
Experience preparing materials and analyses for Compensation Committees and Boards of Directors.

Responsibilities

Develop and execute a comprehensive global total rewards strategy aligned with business objectives.
Design, implement, and evaluate compensation, equity, and benefits programs to attract and retain talent.
Ensure programs are market competitive and fiscally responsible.
Provide strategic recommendations to executive leadership on compensation philosophy and investments.
Lead global compensation programs, including base pay, incentives, and executive compensation.
Oversee annual planning, merit increases, bonus programs, and salary structure management.
Develop compensation analytics and reporting to inform leadership decisions.
Lead administration and design of the company's equity programs and long-term incentives.
Ensure compliance with securities regulations, tax requirements, and governance standards.
Oversee People Business Systems governance, including Workday, ADP, ATS integrations.
