Cogent Communications, a leading Tier 1 telecom provider, is seeking a seasoned B2B sales professional in the Santa Clara area. This in-office role focuses on hunting new business across regional territories, leveraging Cogent's global IP network footprint to deliver connectivity solutions.

You will prospect, qualify, and convert opportunities with decision makers, using consultative selling and relationship-building techniques to drive revenue growth while working in a fast-paced team

Competenze

• 3–8+ years of solid B2B sales experience in a telecom arena with collocation, wholesale experience, and data transit/transport.
• Proven track record of meeting or exceeding quota in a direct hunting, B2B sales role.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills; ability to engage with Key Decision Makers.

Mansioni

• Identify new business opportunities within a prescribed Regional Sales Territory and target market segments (IP Transit, content creators/hosters, carriers/wholesalers, Netcentric).
• Direct outreach via calls and emails to qualify and generate opportunities; engage with decision makers.
• Supplement prospecting with onsite meetings as needed and build relationships to position services within Cogent's global footprint.
