TMEIC in Roanoke, VA is seeking a leader to develop and drive a Technical Services function across assigned market segments. You will deliver responsive client support and service offerings, align with the Mid-Range Plan, and expand service revenue by coordinating with commercial, operations, and engineering teams.

You will define service scopes, lead delivery, and manage budgets, while ensuring 24/7 coverage when needed and driving continuous improvement across the unit.

Formación

• Bachelor of science in electrical, electronic, mechanical, or computer engineering or related field, or equivalent via education and/or experience.
• 5 years of technical or technical management experience in industrial control systems in metals, material handling, paper, or related industries.
• 3 years of client facing technical sales and/or business development experience.
• Demonstrated success leading teams to accomplish business goals.
• Demonstrated success managing financial results to plan in a manufacturing or industrial services business.
• Experience reviewing commercial terms and conditions of large-value services contracts.
• Proven relationships with clients, suppliers, and internal/external contacts.
• Strong leadership, interpersonal, organizational, administrative, and communication skills.
• Continuous improvement in areas of responsibility.
• Proficiency with Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access, Outlook, MS Projects, and an ERP system.
• Willingness to travel domestically and internationally ~25%.

Responsabilidades

• Develop and lead a Technical Services function to improve client performance and expand service revenue.
• Define scopes, resources, and delivery approaches; collaborate on proposals and terms.
• Lead delivery of Technical Services commitments coordinating with multiple groups.
• Provide technical guidance, resolve problems, and recommend service solutions.
• Coordinate resources to minimize operational and relationship impacts for clients.
• Maintain 24/7 coverage when required via team and partners.
• Develop the Technical Services team with training and staffing plans.
• Define and monitor performance measures: pipeline, revenue, margin, and satisfaction.
• Lead warranty issue resolution with suppliers and manufacturing divisions.
• Manage capitalization budgets for Technical Services.
• Ensure timely client post-service reports for warranty and paid work.
• Direct expertise and resources to fulfill project commitments.
• Lead continuous improvement initiatives in quality and efficiency.
