Job summary
DELO Industrial Adhesives in Sudbury, MA seeks a Sales Engineer to identify and pursue new technical sales opportunities while expanding our customer base. You will design and implement complex adhesive and processing solutions across high-tech industries, collaborating with US and German engineering teams.
The role requires a Bachelor’s in Engineering with 5+ years in a technical corporate environment, plus at least 2 years in customer support.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical/Process/Materials or similar)
- 5+ years in a technical corporate environment
- Minimum 2 years of customer support, sales experience desirable
- Willingness to travel and participate in intensive training in Germany
Responsibilities
- Search for new sales opportunities and extend our customer base by customer acquisition activities
- Design and develop complex technical adhesive and processing solutions in multiple high tech industries
- Collaborate with executives and the Engineering team in the US as well as in Germany
- Provide start up project development and ongoing customer support
- Internal and external project management and control
- Set up local sales network
- Visit and represent DELO at various trade shows
