Job summary

Appian Corporation is hiring a senior leader to transform global talent acquisition operations, modernize infrastructure, and drive hiring quality across enterprise teams. You will shape strategy with executive visibility, scale systems, and lead a high-performing TA team focused on speed and quality in a fast-growing AI-powered process automation company.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in a relevant field.
• 12+ years of progressive product or operations leadership experience in enterprise environments, with at least 5 years in HR or Talent Acquisition functions.
• 2+ years designing, implementing, and optimizing structured assessment platforms and candidate selection frameworks.
• Design and scale tailored workflows and operating models across functions and regions.
• Proven execution track record and leadership of high-performing teams.
• Hands-on capability including building workflow maps, configuring system rules, auditing data, writing SOPs, and troubleshooting integrations.
• Deep expertise in Greenhouse, SuccessFactors, or Workday, and recruiting automation tools.
• Experience overseeing TA vendor ecosystems, audits, SLAs, negotiations, and accountability.
• Travel to HQ once a month.

Responsibilities

• Architect and implement a structured assessment framework to standardize candidate evaluation and improve hiring quality across regions.
• Partner with the Global Head of TA to deliver strategic initiatives with recruiters and hiring managers.
• Drive TA operational excellence through SOP development, data audits, and process governance across the function.
• Modernize recruiting tech stack: prioritize Greenhouse features, Appian-built automation, reporting, and system integrations.
• Manage and develop a high-performing TA operations team with coaching and clear performance expectations.
