Job summary

Appian is seeking a senior leader to transform its global talent acquisition infrastructure, modernize systems, and implement structured assessments to accelerate hiring quality across regions. This role offers executive visibility and a mandate to scale TA operations in a fast-growing AI-powered company.

You will partner with the Global Head of TA, drive SOPs, data governance, and reporting, and lead a high-performing team to deliver measurable improvements in candidate experience and hiring

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher.
• 12+ years in product or operations leadership in enterprise environments, with at least 5 years in HR or Talent Acquisition.
• 2+ years designing structured assessment platforms and candidate selection frameworks.
• Experience scaling workflows across regions and functions.
• Proven execution and accountability; leading high-performing teams.
• Hands-on capability with workflows, system rules, data auditing, SOPs, and integrations.
• Deep TA tech: Greenhouse, SuccessFactors, or Workday; recruiting automation tools.

Responsibilities

• Architect and implement a structured assessment framework to standardize candidate evaluation.
• Partner with the Global Head of TA to deliver strategic initiatives and credibility with recruiters and hiring managers.
• Drive TA operational excellence through SOP development, data audits, and process governance.
• Modernize the recruiting tech stack and integrations, including reporting across global TA efforts.
• Manage and develop a high-performing TA operations team with coaching and clear performance expectations.
