Job summary

Appian is seeking a senior leader to transform its global talent acquisition infrastructure. You will design structured assessments, modernize TA operations, and drive hiring quality across an AI-powered process automation company. The role offers executive visibility and a mandate to scale systems globally.

You will partner with cross-functional teams including Technology, Legal, Finance, and HRBPs to modernize the recruiting tech stack and deliver reliable, scalable processes worldwide.

Qualifications

• Hold a Bachelor's degree or higher.
• 12+ years of progressive product or operations leadership experience, with at least 5 years in HR or Talent Acquisition.
• 2+ years designing and implementing structured assessment platforms and candidate selection frameworks.
• Experience designing and scaling tailored workflows and operational models across functions and regions.
• Track record as an execution-driven leader owning projects end-to-end.
• Proven ability to recruit, coach, and develop high-performing teams.
• Hands-on capability building workflow maps, configuring system rules, auditing data, and writing SOPs.
• Deep expertise with ATS/CRM platforms (Greenhouse, SuccessFactors, Workday) and recruiting automation tools.

Responsibilities

• Architect and implement a structured assessment framework to standardize candidate evaluation and improve hiring quality.
• Collaborate with the Global Head of TA to deliver strategic initiatives and reliable execution.
• Drive TA operational excellence through SOP development, data audits, and governance.
• Modernize recruiting tech stack, prioritize Greenhouse features, deploy automation, and design global reporting.
• Manage and develop a high-performing TA operations team with a culture of continuous improvement.
