Job summary

Appian is seeking an experienced Talent Acquisition Operations leader to transform our global TA infrastructure, modernize assessments, and drive excellence across engineering, sales, customer success, and corporate functions.

You will own the modernization of TA workflows, implement structured assessment programs, and partner with cross-functional teams to scale systems and improve hiring quality in a high-growth AI-powered company.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher required.
• 12+ years in product or operations leadership in enterprise environments, with at least 5 years in HR/TA.
• 2+ years designing structured assessment platforms and candidate selection frameworks.
• Scaling workflows and operational models across regions and functions.
• Proven ability to lead and develop high-performing teams.

Responsibilities

• Architect and implement a structured assessment framework that standardizes candidate evaluation and improves hiring quality.
• Partner with the Global Head of TA to deliver strategic initiatives and build credibility with recruiters and hiring managers.
• Drive TA operational excellence through SOP development, data audits, and process governance.
• Modernize the recruiting tech stack, implement reporting, and troubleshoot integrations to lift efficiency.
• Manage and develop a high-performing TA operations team with coaching and performance expectations.
