Qualifikationen

• 12+ years in enterprise support engineering, infrastructure, or end user services, with 5+ years in senior/lead/escalation roles.
• Deep hands-on knowledge of Active Directory, hybrid Entra ID, Exchange, Windows/Linux servers, virtualization, storage, and datacenter hardware.
• Experience with endpoint management (Intune, Autopilot, MECM/SCCM, Jamf) and Microsoft 365 ecosystem.
• Knowledge of DNS, DHCP, VLAN, wireless, firewall policy, and switch-level troubleshooting.
• Scripting and automation using Python, PowerShell, or Bash; familiarity with ITSM tooling (ServiceNow).
• Proven technical leadership without formal authority; strong executive communication during incidents.
• Willingness to work on-site, perform hands-on tasks, and support after-hours maintenance windows.
• Bachelor’s degree requirement or equivalent experience.

Aufgaben

• Own day-to-day site operations — incidents, requests, critical issues, and service quality for the Durham site.
• Serve as Tier 3 escalation owner for identity, messaging, compute, and endpoints.
• Own endpoint compliance, vulnerability remediation, patch management, and hardening; manage audit readiness.
• Drive issues into global platform teams with reproduction cases and diagnostic evidence.
• Act as technical lead for site SRO engineers; mentor, review work, and maintain knowledge base.
• Serve as primary technical contact for site IT, coordinating with leadership, Facilities, Security, HR, and Procurement.
• Build automation in PowerShell, Python, or Bash for diagnostics and reporting.
• Represent site/AMER priorities in regional/global IT initiatives and lead in the manager's absence.
