Job summary

NVIDIA in Durham, North Carolina seeks a Site Reliability Operations Technical Lead to own reliability and support for our local IT ecosystem. You’ll act as senior technical contributor, manage incidents, and drive permanent fixes across AD, Exchange, Windows, Linux, and storage.

You will lead site projects, coordinate with global teams, and mentor SRO engineers while building automation and runbooks. A strong background in enterprise IT and on-site availability is essential.

Qualifications

• 12+ years in enterprise support engineering, infrastructure, or end user services, including 5+ years in a senior/lead role in a multi-site environment.
• Deep hands-on across AD/Entra ID, Exchange hybrid, Windows/Linux server, virtualization, storage, and datacenter hardware.
• Enterprise endpoint management (Intune, Autopilot, MECM/SCCM, Jamf or equivalent), Windows 11, and Microsoft 365 ecosystem; endpoint security and remediation.
• Database operations support and networking fundamentals; DNS, DHCP, VLAN, wireless, firewall policy; switch-level troubleshooting.
• Scripting and automation in Python, PowerShell, or Bash; ServiceNow or ITSM familiarity.
• Demonstrated technical leadership with strong executive communication during incidents; root-cause focus.
• Willingness to work on-site, hands-on, and support after-hours maintenance.

Responsibilities

• Own day-to-day site operations: incidents, requests, critical issues, and support coverage; manage queue health, SLA attainment, backlog, and service quality.
• Serve as Tier 3 escalation for identity, messaging, compute, and endpoint domains; drive root cause and permanent fixes.
• Own endpoint compliance, vulnerability remediation, patching, hardening; audit readiness and collaboration with InfoSec.
• Drive critical issues to global platform teams and vendors with reproducible evidence and fixes.
• Act as technical lead for site engineers; mentor, review work, and maintain site knowledge base and runbooks.
