Job summary

Supermicro is seeking a Solution Manager to deliver solutions-based leadership bridging network, data center, cloud and IT infrastructure into compelling offerings. This role requires collaboration with engineering, services and sales to define roadmaps and provide RFP responses.

You will travel periodically to visit customers, lead in creating documentation, and present training materials to internal and external stakeholders, driving high-quality service delivery.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in engineering or equivalent experience.
• Minimum 5+ years of experience in Compute/Storage Server, Data Center or IT infrastructure.
• Excellent communication and business sense required.
• Solutions, programs or project management experience is essential.
• Strong background with x86-based server architecture and virtualization.

Responsibilities

• Create product roadmaps and strategy for services deployment.
• Manage technical resources to address client needs.
• Lead RFP total solutions responses and customer engagements.
• Present training materials to internal sales and customers.
• Travel periodically to visit customers and trade shows.
• Oversee deliverables and documentation for the service organization.
• Drive high-quality service delivery and ecosystem partnerships.
