Job summary

Supermicro is seeking a Solution Manager to drive growth of enterprise thermal solutions within the Data Center Building Block Solutions (DCBBS) portfolio. This role focuses on expanding the customer base among data center and enterprise clients by leading strategic engagements, developing opportunity pipelines, and representing Supermicro at major industry trade shows and conferences.

The Solution Manager will also serve as a key voice of the customer in next‑generation product development,

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical, Mechanical, or Computer Engineering.
• 8+ years in business development, product management, or solution selling in data center power/thermal management.
• Experience with liquid cooling and air cooling.
• Strong communication and executive relationship skills.
• Experience with Tier 1/2 OEMs or data center operators.

Responsibilities

• Lead pre-sales engagements with engineering, sales, and product teams to design and deliver competitive solutions.
• Develop vertical thermal solutions from proof-of-concept to market-ready offerings.
• Manage solution deployment and act as primary escalation point for technical and commercial issues.
• Collaborate with marketing to position air- and liquid-cooling solutions competitively.
• Represent Supermicro at major industry events to network and identify opportunities.
