Job summary

Supermicro is seeking a Solution Manager to drive growth of enterprise thermal solutions within the Data Center Building Block Solutions portfolio. This role leads strategic engagements, develops opportunity pipelines, and represents Supermicro at major industry trade shows and conferences.

This role is based in San Jose, CA, and will collaborate with engineering, sales, and product teams to design competitive proposals and expand the thermal solutions portfolio across data center customers.

Qualifications

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong executive presence and ability to influence cross-functional teams.
• Proven track record in relationship management and negotiating mid- to large-scale opportunities.
• Deep familiarity with end-to-end thermal solutions including cooling architectures.

Responsibilities

• Partner with management to set acquisition, retention, and revenue targets for enterprise thermal solutions.
• Lead pre-sales engagements with engineering, sales, and product teams to design and deliver winning proposals.
• Build executive-level relationships with clients, prospects, and strategic partners to expand the thermal portfolio.
• Develop vertical-specific thermal solutions from PoC to market-ready offerings across data center environments.
• Manage solution integration projects from design through deployment and act as escalation point for technical and commercial issues.
• Collaborate with sales and marketing to position air- and liquid-cooling solutions competitively and train internal teams.
