Qualifications

• Proficient with Microsoft Outlook, Word and Excel.
• Strong mathematical skills are required.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities are essential.
• Knowledge of UPS/FedEx software is preferred.
• Ability to read and write in English is required.
• Understanding ITAR and government regulations is preferred.
• Experience tracking international shipments is a plus.
• Forklift/side-loader certification preferred.
• Must pass drug and background checks.
• 1–2 years of related experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage all outbound shipments processed by outside carriers and internal Fleet.
• Obtain quotes and select vendors for freight and forwarding services.
• Coordinate with internal and external contacts on shipments.
• Investigate and resolve shipping or paperwork issues.
• Prepare and administer invoices, bills of lading and shipping statements.
• Ensure accuracy of shipments and packaging for timely deliveries.
• Maintain compliance with ITAR and related regulations.
• Ship materials via FedEx and UPS.
• File freight claims and track them weekly; resolve disputes.
• Maintain inventory of shipping materials and supplies.
